Steam Chemical Indicator Strips printed with a long strip of indicator ink for a wide area of monitoring in the pack. It is designed to indicate whether steam has penetrated to the point of placement of the strip, usually the center of a pack. Each strip is perforated at the center if a shorter internal chemical indicator is preferred.

The chemical indicator goes from a gradual, distinct off-yellow to dark brown/black color change when exposed to the steam sterilization process and has a color reference standard. It is suitable for gravity and vacuum-assisted cycle.
